Aston Villa signs John Terry!!

Aston Villa have signed former Chelsea and England captain John Terry.

The 36-year-old defender, whose contract at Stamford Bridge expired on 30 June, has signed a one-year deal with the Championship club. I am delighted with this signing because if we signed him when he was in his prime he would worth like 30 to £40 million.

Even though he’s 36 he’s got something we sort of lack in defence and that is, leadership, a captain, can organised the back 4 and he will give Chester and Baker more confidence in defending.  He won 78 caps for England, played 717 games for the Blues and won his fifth Premier League title in May.

Villa finished 13th in the Championship last season but Steve Bruce’s side are among the favourites to win automatic promotion to the top flight in 2017-18. We still need to bring in players to strengthen for when we are in the Premier League next season so we don’t go back down.

I knew he would move to Villa because of pictures of him playing golf with Steve Bruce and he has chose Villa or Birmingham City and there was no way he was gonna play there because they can’t afford him as he’s on £60,000 a week.

Let’s hope he will be one of our best signing this season and hope we will get back to the Premier League

Birmingham 1-1 Aston Villa| A fair result in a thrilling derby

Hi Guys Milan here and the Derby is over and Aston Villa drew 1-1 to Birmingham City in a thrilling derby.

Image result for aston villa vs birmingham city 1-1

Aston Villa started the game we when we dominated the Blues by creating chances and defending really well. We scored the first goal when Jordan Ayew crossed the ball into the box and a player who came through the Villa Academy that goes by the name Gary Gardiner, who guided the ball in the back of the net with his head and I felt really happy for him as he struggled under Di Matteo but now under Steve Bruce he will get game experience and will be a good midfielder alongside Jedinak and Tshibola.

Speaking of Jedinak he was incredible in that game and in my opinion he is my man of the match for his tracking back and winning the ball back consistently and protecting the defence and supporting the attacking options of Ayew, Kodija etc. He is a leader in the midfield and we haven’t had a leader in the middle since Stiliyan Petrov which is a long time ago now.

Second half starts and Birmingham City in my opinion came out the better side and we was defending for our lives when The Blues had shot after shot and Chester and Baker had to work as hard as they can. The Blues had an equaliser coming from David Davis scored a really good shot from outside the box and it was 1-1. I was quite disappointed but I have to stay positive and we made some very interesting subs.

One sub was a man that goes by the name Gabriel Agbonlahor, who have been axed from Di Matteo’s side and now Steve Bruce is working hard get Gabby back into full fitness and be the Agbonlahor we know. We carried on defending well and both teams have to settle for the draw which I think is a fair result. We need to kick on now and get a result against Blackburn and challenge for the Play Offs this season.

Sheffield Wednesday 1 – 0 Aston Villa review| It’s not the end of the world

Hi guys Milan here and Villa have lost the first game of the new season 1-0 to Sheffield Wednesday.

To be honest I’m not really mad about the result I’m just gutted because I knew it would be a tough game as Wednesday are a decent team.

First half starts and Wednesday were dominating us it we had some new faces in the lineup like Gollini, McCormack and Tshibola when he come on as a sub and one man I think who was man of the match for me and it’s Tommy Elphick. He was brilliant and shows more fight and determination then Lescott last season.

Second half starts and we were better this half but there was weaknesses in the midfield and I don’t think Gary Gardiner was good enough and I think Veretout and Tshibola should start in a 3 man midfield with Westwood.

The goal came when Gollini mad a mistake when he sliced his clearence and Forestieri went through and slots it past him and I feel sorry for him. Villa fans were blaming him for the goal but I’m defending him because he’s 21 years old and it was his first official game and I think he will learn from his mistakes.

I think we will get results in the next few weeks and we will get better hope so.

Southampton VS Aston Villa preview

Hi guys Milan here, in this blog I’m doing a preview on Aston Villa’s next game against Southampton at St Mary’s.

Southampton VS Aston Villa

This game will be tough as Southampton is a decent team even though they lost 6-1 to Liverpool in the League cup.

Top scorer Graziano Pelle returned after suspension to play in that match which terrifies me because he is a good striker and he’s the clubs top scorer this season so far. Tadic and Mane are also threats upfront as they can out play us when crossing the ball to Pelle.

Villa could be missing both first-choice central defenders, with Ciaran Clark banned and captain Micah Richards nursing a knee injury. These two are a huge blow to our defense as Richards is our captain and leader. Also Clark is a good defender that never disappoints me.

Jores Okore may make his first appearance of the season, while Gabby Agbonlahor is fit after a calf injury. I like Okore as he is a strong defender and fast as well. Gabby is a good player but he wasn’t the player I remember years ago.

We played well against Watford but yet again our defense was scrappy again with Hutton needs to be dropped and play Bacuna at RB and Lescott to partner Okore for the back four.

I’m not sure if we win this weekend but I think a draw would be nice but this is a must win game. So I’m going to say it’s a 2-2 draw.

Aston Villa VS Watford preview

Hi guys Milan here and this is my preview on Aston Villa as they will take on Watford this weekend.

Aston Villa VS Watford

Things have gone just worst now that Jack Grealish had a night out in Manchester when we lost 4-0 to Everton which made Remi Garde frustrated and dropped you to the development squad which you deserve for not caring about the team.

Sinclair will have to play on the left against Watford who are doing well under there manager. They beat Newcastle, Stoke and West Ham and they might beat us at home, which worries me so much. Because if we lose we might get relegated, no offence to Watford your a good team but not as big as we are.

Ighalo and Deeney scares me the most as I hope Richards and Clark or Richardson (If he can defend for the first time in his career) to keep them quiet.

There’s one thing we need to do on Saturday is “Play without fear” because sometime we are terrified when we faced Stoke or Swansea and I don’t know why. Remi Garde said that “Panic is not helpful. It’s the worst attitude we could have”. which he is right so we need to be relaxed on the ball, play two-touch football and more importantly SCORE GOALS!

I really hope Villa win so we have some confidence in the next game but I think Watford will give us a good fight so I think a 2-1 win for Villa.

Story Of The FA Cup Semi-Final

Semi-finals of the FA Cup is all done and the final is all set for the 30th May at Wembley.

Reading 1 – 2 Arsenal

Sanchez gave the Premier League side a 39th-minute lead from close range before Garath McCleary volleyed home an equaliser shortly after the break.

Alexis Sanchez

Extra Time kicked off and the Australian keeper Federici was at fault as Sanchez’s effort spilled through his grasp and rolled in and although Reading pushed for an equaliser Arsenal held on.

Aston Villa 2 – 1 Liverpool

Aston Villa will meet Arsenal in the FA Cup final after a thoroughly deserved win over a desperately disappointing Liverpool at Wembley.

Aston Villa v Liverpool

Philippe Coutinho clipped Liverpool into the lead which took a deflection of Okore. But the dangerous Christian Benteke leveled before half-time to get his 9th goal in 7 games. Villa scored the winner through Fabian Delph’s who coolly finish after nine minutes in the second half.
