Captain Kane does it again!!

Image result for 2018 world cup

More goals, more drama, and there’s plenty more to come so let’s start with England.

Image result for tunisia 1-2 england

England starts their World Cup with a bang after a late winner against Tunisia so kick off the group stage. Let’s be honest with each other here because in the first 20 minutes, it was the best England have looked in the world cup since 1998 as there were relentlessly attacking Tunisia and piling all the pressure on them and it paid off. Young corner goes and John Stones was denied by a world class save from the keeper but then the captain Harry Kane makes it 1-0 and the keeper had to come off with injury and I do feel sorry for him. But then the referee made a shocking error as the Tunisian player ran into Kyle Walker’s arm and hit the deck and a penalty was giving.

Tunisia made it 1-1 and it was sickening. Second half starts and we was still trying to break down their defence as they were playing for the point and they was actually cheating which is so disrespectful. But then in the last dying minutes, Trippier crosses the ball in Maguire heads it on and this was school boy defending from Tunisia as Harry Kane was unmarked and he heads it in, it’s 2-1 and the fans went absolutely ballistic.

Now to the rivals of England, Germany what a brilliant start to the World Cup.

Image result for germany 0-1 mexico

All I can say is Germany’s full backs were terrible, Lozano scored a brilliant goal and Germany had chance after chance and it won’t go in and it was embarrassing for Germany. Let’s not forget they are the reigning world champions and Mexico fond it easy against them. It was like Spain when they won the World Cup in 2010 but 4 years later in Brazil, Netherlands found it easy against Spain and they won 5-1. I do hope Germany get their act together because of they don’t win their next game it will be deep trouble for them as they are always tournament favourites and they always do well but is Joachim Low time at Germany over if Germany get knocked out, we will see.

Over to the team I support as it’s country I’m from which is Serbia

Image result for costa rica vs serbia

Serbia started their world cup with a brilliant 1-0 win over Costa Rica. It’s a good start to us as we have been tipped to finish 2nd and we have some quality players and we have the quality to beat teams. First half was even as both teams had really good chances but nothing happend. But in the second half Serbia came out stronger and was creating beter chances to score. Mitrovic is being a nightmare for defenders as he was brought down for the free kick and step up Aleksandar Kolarov from 25 yards, curls in a beautiful free kick pass Navas and it was 1-0 to Serbia. A good start for Serbia and we need to play well against Switzerland after they drew 1-1 to favourites Brazil.

Now we are going to a nation that won and they could be the dark horses which is Belguim.

Image result for belgium vs panama

Belguim started really well against the debut team that is Panama and had a brillaint first half in which they held Belguim 0-0. But the second half Panama tried but Belguim had more quality as it was proven when Napoli striker Mertens scored one of the goals of the tournament with an amazing volley and then Lukaku scored a brace and it was a comfortable win for them as I predicted them to do well in this tournament. As for Panama I knew they will be the whipping boys but they deserve so much credit for making it to the World Cup.

The World Cup is better watching then Villa!

How’s everyone doing and I am back in the blogs but this time it’s different as It’s the World Cup and there’s already drama like no other.

Alan Hutton

Let’s start with some good news from Villa after some horrible news from the club over the last couple of weeks. Alan Hutton signs a new contract to the club which also cut’s his wages as well due to our financial problem at the moment. In my opinion Alan Hutton was washed up at Villa before Steve Bruce came in but over last season and the season that’s finish, he’s been the hard working footballer in our dressing room, he gives everything for that Villa shirt and to see him stay is phenomenal. As for Villa I don’t really care about what happen’s because I don’t think we will do well and Steve Bruce I’m not behind him and he should of left to Leeds but we are stuck with him.

Image result for russia 5-0 saudi arabia

Now the World Cup and it all kicked of with Russia (the host) smashing Saudi Arabia 5-0. I was actually so surprised considering that Russia never really play attractive football but in this game they blew me away. Gazinskiy scored to make it 1-0 the Cheryshev scored a brilliant second goal when he sent two defenders to the show and smashes it. Dzyuba made it 3-0 with a brillaint header then Cheryshev scored a fantastic Trevela shot into the top corner, and it was topped off when Golovin scored a free kick to make it 5-0 and for Saudi Arabia it could of been 6 or 7-0, it was embarrassing defending. That gives the host so much confidence going in to the game against Egypt as they lost to Uruguay 1-0 with Jose Gimenez with a bullet header in the 90th minute that reduces Mo Salah to tears.
Image result for egypt 01 Uruguay

Finally let’s move on to the biggest game of the World Cup so far with Portugal against Spain. It started well when Ronaldo was tripped in the box by Nacho and then Ronaldo makes it 1-0 with De Gea no chance. Then Busquets log ball up to Diego Costa who uses his strength well and he somehow got it in with a brilliant low shot to make it 1-1. Portugal took the lead again when Ronaldo’s low shot which De Gea spilled the it was 2-1, shocking from his standard as he is the best keeper in the world especially. Second half kicked off and Spain made it 2-2 as Diego Costa was in the right place as the confident is in the veins of the Spanish striker. Then suddenly, Spain took the lead when Nacho Fernandez when he turn from zero to hero, as he scored on the half volley and it curled in the back of the net and it was like Roberto Carlos in his prime. At this point I felt there’s no way back for Portugal as they win a free and who was their to make it 3-3 Cristiano Ronaldo who’s trademark free-kick which made De Gea stood still like a statue and they manage to grab a point.

For the first two games of the World Cup it’s been some brilliant goals, drama and celebrations and there is going to be more dram in the coming days.

Aston Villa 0-1 Fulham| Championship again!

Image result for aston villa vs fulham wembley

Disappointed, Gutted, Embarrassed. Three words to say how I feel after watching us struggle against Fulham, no disrespect to them because they deserved the win as they wanted it more then us and sh-owned more passion then us which baffles me.

I swear you will hear some positive Villa fans saying “Oh well, we got a day out at Wembley and we was against Fulham who are really good”. Listen I don’t care about Fulham. We are Aston Villa FC so start acting like a big club because we are like a average Championship side and I don’t want to see that at all. Steve Bruce there’s been questions about you since you came to Villa and questions about the performances and no one seems to acknowledge the fact your football is rubbish, slow and pathetic.

The team was strong, I grant you that it was the way Steve Bruce want’s them to play and the first half we sat deep and allowed Fulham to attack, attack and attack  which lead to the first goal from Tom Cairney. I saw our team playing as if they didn’t care in the first half and Steve Bruce has to kick them up the back side to perform in the second half. We tried to fight in the second half but it was too late as I see us no creating anything and we didn’t make a change until the 77th minute which made me question the logic of Steve Bruce and I was frustrated that his tactics lost us a perfect chance to be a Premier League team again.

Next Season I have no hope for us anymore as this was the perfect chance to get us back but now I don’t care like I’ll still go to the games, I love Villa but Steve Bruce I don’t care about his reputation and his press conferences because I want a manager to brighten up the players and show some “Proper” football and bring real quality into the sqaud because West Brom, Stoke, Leeds and Swansea will have good chances and we need to show to everyone we are a Premier League club, but with Steve Bruce we are a championship and at the moment we are the next Leeds which hurts. Loads of Villa fans turned up at Wembley and spend loads of money and they think that it’s acceptable to perform like dogshit like we have been all season.

If you enjoy this then make sure you like and follow my blog and let’s  hope Villa can bounce next season.

Aston Villa 1-0 Birmingham City| Gabby once again against the blues.

Gabby Agbonlahor

Ahhhh it feels good to beat our rivals. Aston Villa won 1-0 against a poor Birmingham City side.

1st half kicked off and it was a full house at Villa Park which is incredible and I think we should do that for all the home games for next season because it will be the season where we can build the full squad and go back to the Premier League.

We have to thank Zola who ruined the club and I feel sorry for Harry Redknapp because if Birmingham get relegated then it will ruin his reputation as a manager. I don’t think he will get the blues safe because they got an inform Huddersfield and Bristol City. Villa have got Blackburn away and we got the champions Brighton for the final home game of the season.

The first half was boring lets be honest nothing really happen apart from some tackles and arguments which is what you expect from a derby. Second half started and we tried to create some good chances and we made a substitution off goes Jack Grealish on goes Gabby Agbonlahor who’s record against Birmingham is impressive.

We had a corner, Lansbury whipped it in, the players were all over the place, it fell to one man that is Gabby Agbonlahor who reaction speed was phenomenal as he smashes the ball into the top corner as nearly 50,000 fans were celebrating a goal at last.

Also I want to say RIP to Villa legend Ugo Ehiogu who was incredible alongside McGrath in defence. I think we didn’t put in a good performance but we got the 3 points and it was a fitting tribute to Ugo who not only he was a brilliant defender he was a very nice human being.

Maybe we can win the last two games but for me I want Blackburn to beat us and Birmingham to lose to Huddersfield and that would be celebration to see the scum in League One.

The Football Recap #1

Image result for Football

Hi guys Milan here and welcome to The Football Recap where we will talk about the Premier League and The Championship unfortunately.

Manchester United 1-1 Arsenal

Olivier Giroud scores against Man Utd

Olivier Giroud’s 89th-minute equaliser earned Arsenal a point and denied Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United a victory they deserved at Old Trafford.

Juan Mata looked to have put United on course for three points with a sweeping left-foot finish from Ander Herrera’s cut-back after 68 minutes. It was a good finish from Juan Mata who is looking a top player under Mourinho.

United had controlled a game that was ordinary for long periods, with Arsenal keeper Petr Cech making important saves and Mourinho left furious that they were denied a first-half penalty by referee Andre Marriner when Nacho Monreal hauled down Antonio Valencia. It was a penalty in my eyes but the Referee made a massive mistake in that game.

The Arsenal got very lucky when Oxlade-Chamberlain crossed in the perfect ball and Giroud who was unmarked in the box and made it 1-1 with a brilliant header. Mourinho was complaining saying Manchester United are the “Unluckiest Team in the league”. May I say United beat Swansea 3-1, Lost to Fernebache in the Europa League, then got destroyed by Chelsea 4-0 and a 0-0 draw against Burnley. They are not unlucky they are just poor. Enough said.

Tottenham Hotspur 3-2 West Ham United

Harry Kane

Another team who bottled it this weekend is West Ham who were 2-1 up and then lost 3-2 to their rivals Spurs.

West Ham took the lead when Antonio scored a header then Spurs youngster Harry Winks (Who was Man Of The Match) equalised to make it 1-1. West Ham then made it 2-1 when Lanzini converted from the penalty spot, and they had a chance to make it 3-1 when Zaza was on a counter attack along with Payet but he didn’t pass it to quickly and then they lost possession of the ball.

Harry Kane who returned from injury continues his form after the North London Derby against Arsenal. He made it 2-2 with a nice tidy finish and then it was 3-2 when Spurs had a penalty and Harry Kane went on to win the game.

West Ham are still in trouble as they are 1 point above relegation. Without Europe they need to focus on finishing in the top 10 otherwise it will be the end for Slaven Bilic. Will West Ham get relegated this season? Let me know on Twitter or the comments below.

Crystal Palace 1-2 Manchester City

Image result for crystal palace 1-2 man city

The return of Yaya Toure who he went on to score a brace to continue the misery for Alan Pardew.

He made it 1-0 with a smashing finish into the top corner when Nolito supplied the pass towards Yaya Toure. He’s one of the contenders for African footballer of the year 2016. Palace made it 1-1 with a good counter attack when Zaha played in a pass towards Connor Wickham with a nice finish passed Bravo.

But Toure, who has not figured at all for City for almost three months, had the final word when he turned home Kevin de Bruyne’s corner from close range. The win moves City second in the table, level on points with leaders Liverpool and with an identical goal difference.

Palace are in big trouble as they are the worse team of 2016 as they are even worse then two teams who got relegated from Football League 2. I think Pardew will get sacked soon if his run continues, but all I can say is thank you for Mile Jedinak who have been our best midfielder.

Brighton 1-1 Aston Villa

Glenn Murray

Glenn Murray scored his 10th goal this season as Brighton resisted a second-half Aston Villa onslaught to extend their unbeaten league run to 11 games. Also Villa are 6 games unbeaten as well.

We took the lead when Nathan Baker met an Albert Adomah free-kick with a fine flicked header to put Villa in front after 20 minutes. Well done Baker and I don’t know if Elphick will be in the team because Baker and Chester have be so solid since Steve Bruce has come in.

Murray responded by fizzing a low shot past goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini just before the break. Jonathan Kodjia hit the bar and David Stockdale made two crucial saves as Villa pressed for a second-half winner.

The game ends in a draw and we will extend our run and beat Cardiff City this weekend and climb the table. Steve Bruce has really organised with Chester being a good captain, Jedinak being our leader in the midfield and Kodija is on fire and your defence is terrified.  UTV!!!

Premier League 16/17 predictions #1

Hi guys Milan here and I have returned with the Premier League predictions for the first week of the season.

Hull City VS Leicester City

First game of the season will start with the the return of Hull City without Steve Bruce and the reining champions that are Leicester City. Vardy is Leicester’s only hope now as Kante is gone to Chelsea and Mahrez is likely to leave. Hull will struggle this season without Steve Bruce but they still have some decent players in that squad and they might surprise teams. They need to find a good manager that will tell the players to give it there all and keep them in the Premier League.

I think Leicester will win 3-1.

Burnley VS Swansea City

Burnley are back in the Premier League and I hope they stay because they was unlucky to get relegated and with a star player like Andre Gray they can rely on him to get the goals. Swansea lost Andre Ayew who was there top scorer last season which is a massive blow but with a striker like Llorente who knows where the back of the net is. But they are going to lose Ashley Williams to Everton which is massive to Swansea’a first team, but they are getting a new striker as well so they will get goals.

I think this will be a 1-1 draw.

Crystal Palace VS West Bromich Albion

Losing FA Cup finalist have been busy in the transfer window with some new players. Pardew has to make sure they don’t lose Bolasie to Everton because he is important to this Crystal Palace team. West Brom has to make sure he keeps Berahino at the club and also they need to play a different style of football instead of parking the bus and make things difficult for the opponent.

I think Palace will win comfortably 2-0.

Everton VS Tottenham Hotspur

Ronald Koeman is Everton’s new manager and they have already lost Stones but they are in for Williams which is a good signing for them. Everton will do well this season I think if they keep Lukaku then they will do well this season. Spurs on the other hand finished 3rd last season but for Kane and Alli having bad tournament for England I don’t know if they will return to good form.

I think Spurs will win 2-1 away to Everton.

Middlesbrough VS Stoke City

Boro are back in the Premier League and I’m happy to see a team return to the top flight of English football. They have made some good signings and I think they will survive in the Premier League. Last season this was the best Stoke City team I’ve seen in a long time under Mark Hughes. I think Stoke will finish higher then last season if they have some consistent form in games.

I think this will be a 2-1 win for Stoke City.

Southampton VS Watford

Without Koeman, Pelle, Mane and Wanyama I think Southampton might struggle. But I think they still have a good team and they can get results. Watford  on the other hand have a new manager and they might surprise teams again like they did with Ighalo and Deeney. I think Watford will have a relegation battle this season but I might be proven wrong.

I think it will it will be a 2-0 win for Southampton.

Manchester City VS Sunderland

Man City have ended their Pellegrini era and I think with Pep in charge Man City will play more quality football. Aguero will score goals to try carrying the team to the title again and the new signings will do well in this Premier League season. Sunderland is without Big Sam as he is now England manager, now they have David Moyes now and I think they might play good football under him.

I think Man City will win 4-0.

AFC Bournemouth VS Manchester United

Jose Mourinho will kick off his Premier League season at Manchester United and they have spend a lot of money on players. Ibrahimovic is in good form after scoring the winner against Leicester City in the FA Community Shield. Pogba returns to Man United (I’ve done a blog about that so check that out) and other players who are willing to win the title. Bournemouth is in their second season of the Premier League and I think they will struggle but we will see what happens.

I think Man United will win 3-0.

Arsenal VS Liverpool

This is a big game for both clubs and also bad news as well because both teams want to get off to a winning start. Arsenal needs to find a top class striker either partner Giroud or replace him. Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool team is in really good form as they smash Barcelona 4-0 which is unbelievable but then lost 4-0 to 04 Mainz which is embarrassing.

I think this game will be a 2-2 draw but I think Liverpool will snatch a late winner.

Chelsea VS West Ham United

Chelsea kick off their Antonio Conte era with a home game to West Ham. Kante will hopefully start because he’s a premier league winner and Michy Batshuayi in my opinion he will do well and could partner Diego Costa or just have one striker up front. West Ham will have to wait till they play there home game at the Olympic Stadium. Payet will be the star player hopefully and they might challenge for top 4.

I think Chelsea will win 2-1 against West Ham.

Transfer Rumour| Zlatan to the Premier League?

Hi guys Milan here and today I’m bringing back transfer rumours and today’s rumour is Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the premier League

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has admitted he is considering offers to move to the Premier League this summer. Arsenal have been offered the 34-year-old Swedish superstar a move to Arsenal while Jose Mourinho will move for Ibrahimovic if he gets the Manchester United job in the summer. Ibrahimovic is out of contract at Paris Saint-Germain this summer and fancies a move to England.

I think this would be good as I don’t mind which team he goes to as long we get to see one of the worlds best strikers if not the best striker in the world. He may be 34 years old but he still got the skills and technique and the most important attribute of Zlatan is that he’s got the required strength to do it in the Premier League.

Sweden striker Ibrahimovic, talking ahead if a friendly with Czech Republic, said: “Yes, there is interest from the Premier League, I can confirm that. “The Premier League is the league the world all people and fans speak about. “To make it very clear, there are no negotiations at all with PSG, I’m not going to represent them the coming season. I had four amazing years with them. “A lot of things have to feel fine when I’m going to take a decision this summer.”

Let me know which club will offer Zlatan a club because apparently he’s also being linked to go to LA Galaxy and also linked to moved back to AC Milan which will be quite interesting.

Hope you enjoy this blog and there will be more transfers in the near future that might come true. Stay followed for more football madness.
