Premier League 18/19 Table Predictions

Image result for premier league 18/19

The football season is almost here and I will do an 2018/19 Premier League predictions blog.

Let’s start with the bottom who are the teams that will not perform well and let the fans down.

20th: Cardiff City

I just feel that Cardiff are everyone’s team to get relegated because of a 3 things. 1 is Neil Warnock who looks like a witch, 2 their haven’t strengthen the squad and finally their corrupted owner. So I’m putting Cardiff there as they were lucky to go up in my opinion.

19th: Huddersfield Town

Before their fans start to have a go at me, hear me out. I feel they will suffer second season syndrome where they just about survived last season and I feel they will go down but not like they will give up but they don’t have enough quality and also a goalscorer who can keep them up. I do like their manager and I think he’s done a fantastic job but if they do sack him then they will never go back up in my opinion.

18th: Burnley

I know that they were brilliant last season and they’ve qualified for Europe as well. Sean Dyche is a good manager and they have a good squad of players, but if they do go on in Europe then The Europa League is a season killer as it can mess their season up as they don’t have enough players to play in the league and Europe. But I put them at 18th because I think they can survived as they have a fighting chance.

Now we are doing from 17th to 13 which is teams that are not great but they are not bad enough to get relegated.

17th: Crystal Palace

This team was on the brink of getting relegated last season but then Roy Hodgson saved them but I feel they will find it difficult this time as they might lose Benteke and their key player in Zaha which might see Palace relegated but their manager knows how to get teams out of trouble so they might stay up.

16th: Brighton & Hove Albion

They did well last season under Chris Hughton and I feel they have strengthen really well in the squad and they will survive with the group of players which blends young players with experience as well makes the team hard to break down at times. I do rate the manager and I do like the way they play as they balanced from defensive and offensive.

15th: AFC Bournemouth

Another team who will play like Brighton is Bournemouth as they are a credit to the Premier League for being underdogs, playing nice football and they have a nice friendly vibe around there. I rate Eddie Howe and I would love if they stay up again but if they do go down I’ll feel sorry for them.

14th: Fulham

They deserved to beat us as we was terrible but I’m over it now, but they are back in the league where they belong. They have a really solid side, play good football and have an experienced manager to get the best out these players, especially Ryan Sessegnon who will find it more difficult then the Championship. If they sign Mitrovic then they will have the fire power to keep them up.

13th: Watford

I feel Watford would enjoy a good season I feel because on the one hand they can play good football and stay up or it can be they can be terrible and have a season when they go down to the championship. They sold Richarlison which is a big blow to them as they struggle in creativity but if they get the results they needed they will survive. They got good players in Deeney, Gray, Success, Deulofeu so they will perform well under Javi Garcia.

Now it’s 12th to 7th which is full of teams who will win more then they will lose but they are not good enough to get into the top 6.

12th: Southampton

Mark Hughes will have his first full season at Southampton and I feel they will do better as they have brought in decent players to strengthen the squad and I have a soft spot for Southampton as they have one of the best academies in England, they play good football and they have a brilliant set of fans that cheer the team on week in, week out. They have got fire power up front and I think they will do well this season.

11th: Leicester City

Leicester I feel they will do well this season as Claude Puel has a squad of players that can challenge top 6 sides and may finish in the Europa League spot. The one problem they have is that they have lost Mharez to Manchester City and that could hurt them but I still think have the quality to do well and they have brought in some good players to strengthen the squad for fixtures to come in the future.

10th: Everton

Marco Silva is now the boss and to be honest, no one was surprised considering he’d been linked with the job for months. He is bringing his kind of players and Everton could perform better then last season. Lucas Digne, Richarlison are good additions to the team and they have quality players which will suit to Marco Silva’s style of play.

9th: Newcastle United

Rafa is into his second season in the Premier League as Newcastle manager and he has done a fantastic job with the squad he had. Now he is bringing in players like Kenedy, Muto and potentially Rondon to build the squad to try challenge for Europe and I believe they will finish 9th. They have a manager who can handle the expectations, the players he has brought in and they have a fantastic fan base that get behind the Toon Army.

Now it’s 8th to 5th which is full of teams who will challenge for Europe to progress the club to new heights.

8th: Wolverhampton Wanderers

Won the championship with possibly the best squad Wolves has ever produced as they have a man who has shocked everyone that they have spend big money on players and they have a squad to not only stay in the Premier League but to finish in top 10 and build on from there. Wolves are a team not to take lightly as Neves can shine and other players from Portugal that do anything this season to be honest.

7th: West Ham United

West Ham have spent mega money this summer and I wont be surprised if they finish in 7th under Pellegrini. Arnautovic, and new signing Anderson will light up the Olympic Stadium. Wilshire will show his talent and will be a bargain as they bought him for free. West Ham have to challenge now after two seasons of poor and lack of progress. I think Pellegrini is the right man who can take the club forward and show what West Ham United can do.

6th: Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs have to challenge and win the trophy as soon as possible as they have players like Kane, Alli, Eriksen, Lucas Moura that are hungry to achieve in their career and I think Spurs need to challenge for trophies like the Premier League title, The FA Cup, The EFL Cup etc. I think they will finish 6th because they will have big players leaving and they won’t have the right replacements for these players and I think it will be typical Spurs.

5th: Chelsea

Conte out and Sarri come’s in and I believe it will be a different Chelsea again. Reason why is because once again the players let Conte down and then he got sacked and I believe it will happen if Sarri plays his cards right. He did really well for Napoli for a few years and he will bring a different mentality and also he plays the similar football to how Man City played so he’s up their and I believe he can achieve but I think they will finish 5th as teams above them have made signings and performed really well in pre season.

4th: Manchester United

I’m putting Man United 4th because they haven’t strengthen in the summer, Fred is a decent signing for them and he can produce quality but Mourinho is looking more and more stressed as they are linked with loads of players and not getting the deals over the line. If Man United doesn’t challenge for the league or even win a trophy this season, then Mourinho will have to get the sack for failure at one of the biggest clubs in the world.

3rd: Arsenal

Arsene Wenger out and Unai Emery in and Arsenal have invested big to address the positions in the the team for Game 1 against Man City. Emery will bring a new style of football to Arsenal with a lot of positive vibes with fans for once feeling optimistic for the season ahead. Arsenal will finish a respected 3rd but I feel they will be dark horses as they could challenge for the title to give the fans success consistently.

2nd: Manchester City

Man City and Pep will kick off the season as the defending champions after they were fantastic as they outclassed every team and win in style. The reason why I want them to finish 2nd is because apart from Manchester United but the teams like Arsenal and Chelsea have never won back to back Premier League title’s and the other reason is that I want to see a title race instead of one team to dominate the league for years and years.

1st: Liverpool

The one team that have so much potential to win trophies and play some incredible football and rip a team apart will have to be Liverpool. They have addressed the weaknesses in the team with a new GK in Allison and they have fixed up the midfield with Keita and Fabinho and they have options in attack with Mane, Firmino, Salah and new signing Shaqiri to boost their attack. Jurgen Klopp need’s a trophy at Liverpool to label him as one of the best manager’s in the business. Klopp managed to beat Bayern Munich to the Bundesliga title with Dortmund.

Premier League Weekend Review #1

Image result for premier league 17/18

It’s back!! The 2017/18 Premier League season and I can’t wait for the new football season so let’s go!!!

Arsenal 4-3 Leicester City

Olivier Giroud celebrates Arsenal winner

Arsenal end their curse of losing on the first game of the season with thrilling 4-3 win over Leicester City.

Arsenal started really strong as Lacazette gets his first goal for Arsenal with a terrific header. Then Leicester made it 1-1 when Okazaki heads in the net past Cech, then Vardy made it 2-1 and it was good attacking football from Leicester. New signing Kolasinac past to Welbeck to make it 2-2 before half time.

Second half kicked off and Leicester made it 3-2 when again Jamie Vardy puts it past Cech again. Wenger reacted when he subbed Giroud and Ramsey and they made an instant impact. Xhaka crossed the ball to Ramsey who smashed it past Schmeichel in the 83rd minute and then 2 minutes later Xhaka crossed the ball in and Giroud rised up and hits the back of the net and 3 points go to Arsenal.

Watford 3-3 Liverpool

Miguel Britos heads Watford's equaliser over the line

Watford scored a late equaliser in a thrilling 3-3 draw against Liverpool.

Watford took the lead with an header from Okaka past Mignolet and then Liverpool hit back with Sadio Mane with a clinical finish. Watford made it 2-1 with a goal from Doucoure before half time.

Second half kicked off and Liverpool got two goals from Firmino and then new signing Salah made it 3-2 and it wonderful attacking football from Liverpool. Then right at the end when Britos snatched 2 points from Liverpool.

With Coutinho out of the sqaud for the game which is a shock as he wants to leave so what will happen to Coutinho?

Chelsea 2-3 Burnley

Image result for chelsea 2-3 burnley

Chelsea started their defence of the title with an humiliating 3-2 defeat to Burnley.

The game started and Burnley were more lively and Chelsea were down to 10 men with a bad challenge from Cahill. Burnley made it 1-0 from Vokes with 24 minutes gone, then it was made 2-0 when Ward puts the ball past the keeper. Then 3-0 was made when Vokes again volleyed it in and it was a carnival for Burnley and humilting from Chelsea.

Chelsea pulled on pack in the second half with new signing Morata with a nice finish. But it was let down when Chelsea went down to 9 men when Fabregas got a second yellow and a red card. David Luiz made it 3-2 and they were close to gain a point but Burnley defended well and they deserved the 3 points.

Crystal Palace 0-3 Huddersfield Town

Mounie scores Huddersfield's second goal

Huddlesfield Town made a dream start to their first season in the Premier League with a 3-0 win over Crystal Palace.

They took the lead when Palace defender Joel Ward puts in in his own net. Then Steve Mounie made it 2-0 with a powerful header, and the confidence in a club playing in the top teir of english football since 1972 is through the roof.

Mounie who is the club’s record signing scored his a second goal to make it 3-0 and it was a canaval for the 3000 huddlesfield fan. This is Frank De Boer first game under Palace and it didn’t get off to a good start for him but I feel they will do well this season.

Everton 1-0 Stoke City

Image result for everton rooney

It was a special moment for a certain Wayne Rooney who gets the only goal for Everton in a 1-0 win over Stoke City.

Everton who have invested in loads of players over the summer with the amount of money coming to the club. They dominated the first half and Stoke keeper Jack Butland was keeping stoke in the game until a header from Wayne Rooney made it 1-0 before half time.

The 31-year-old, who left the club for Manchester United in 2004, headed in his 199th Premier League goal as the Toffees beat Stoke 1-0 at Goodison Park. He is close to Shearer’s record but even if he breaks it he won’t be anywhere near Shearer’s class.

Southampton 0-0 Swansea City

There was always one boring game on the opening day and this was one of them which is a 0-0 draw between Southampton and Swansea.

Both teams had chances to make it 1-0 and to be honest strikers on both sides had an off day and the one big chance when Southampton striker Gabbiadini hit the cross bar from a corner from Tadic.

Southampton had chance after chance after chance to make it 1-0 and it should of been 3-0 or 4-0 to the Saints and Swansea were getting destroyed and they got a sneaky point way from home.

West Brom Albion 1-0 AFC Bournemouth

West Brom

A certain new signing for West Brom described his goal a special moment as West Brom won 1-0 against Bournemouth.

Bournemouth had the majority of possession but failed to capitalise, and there was a sense of inevitability as a Baggies free-kick was safely nodded in by the Egyptian defender, for his first goal for the club.

Another Tony Pulis’ summer signing performed well, which is debutant Jay Rodriguez twice coming close and looking sharp. It was a tidy opening day performance for the Baggies.

Brighton & Hove Albion 0-2 Manchester City

Brighton fought against the mighty Man City but Man Ciy proved too strong for Brighton with a comfortable 2-0 win.

In the first half Brighton did really well as they were compact, they defended well and frustrated Pep Guardiola’s team and everyone thought they will struggle against Brighton who are playing in the Premier League for the first time in history.

Second half started and Man City was putting pressure on Brighton all half and it paid of with their man Sergio Aguero who was top scorer for City last season, opens his account for the season. then it was made 2-0 five minutes later with an own goal by Lewis Dunk.

Wasn’t convincing from Man City as they need to step up to show that they are title contenders for this season.

Newcastle United 0-2 Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham made a winning start to the 2017-18 Premier League season as 10-man Newcastle endured a difficult return to the top flight.

First half was all Spurs the half as Kane, Alli, Eriksen etc having shots at goal and Newcastle were terrible as they couldn’t get out of their half. All the talk about what’s happening at Newcastle as their manager Benitez as he might resign because of Mick Ashley and they are not going after players.

Second half kicked off and it went from bad to worse as Jonjo Shelvey got a straight red card for stamping on Dele Alli due to frustration. It was stupid from Shelvey and he deserves a ban for that. Speaking of Dele Alli, he gived Spurs the deserved lead and I feel Shelvey will get the blame. It was made 2-0 when Ben Davies scored from an Eriksen assist.

Spurs started off strong and hope they will be title conteders again whereas Newcastle they need to sort themselves out before Rafa Benitez walks away.

Manchester United 4-0 West Ham United

Romelu Lukaku scores Manchester United's opening goal

United started with a dominate 4-0 win over West Ham United.

Lukaku gived United the lead for his first goal at Old Trafford for Manchester United from a pass from Rashford. Lukaku seems to be a good signing for United as with his experience in the Premier League

Then second half kicked off and it was made 2-0 when Romelu Lukaku again when he heads the ball from a free kick from Mkhitaryan. It was 3-0 when substitute Martial opens his account for the season with a nice finish then Pogba scored from 20 yards out to make it 4-0.

One player stood out and it was Matic who controlled the game, won the ball back and he can be key to United winning trophies this season. It was a dominate game from Mourinho and I feel they are title contenders this season.

Summer Transfer #2

Another blog on the summer transfer window and I’ve got a few transfers I’ve got to talk about.

Leonardo Bonucci from Juventus to AC Milan for €42,000,000

Image result for bonucci ac milan

On 14 July 2017, Bonucci was signed by Milan on a five-year contract for a €42 million fee, subject to a successful medical check.

Opinions: With new owners coming into the club and money is coming in. AC Milan are bring in players that will bring them back the glory days. Bonucci is one of those players that every club needs, because he’s one of the best defenders in the world and he’s a leader. I think it’s a really good signing and hope Milan will go back to the top.

Hakan Çalhanoğlu from Bayer 04 to AC Milan for €20,000,000

Image result for hakan calhanoglu ac milan

Çalhanoğlu signed a 4-year contract with Serie A club Milan. He was then handed the number 10 jersey, last worn by Keisuke Honda, and famously worn by notable former Milan players such as Clarence Seedorf, Rui Costa, Dejan Savićević and Ruud Gullit.

Opinions: Another addition to the squad and it’s the Turkish wizard and every club was trying to get his signature and AC Milan won his signature. He’s god a excellent touch, dribbling skills and he’s a set piece specialist and finally he’s got unbelievable vision to find players in space. I think if AC Milan are in the group stage of the Europa League, they are favourites to win it.

Tiemoue Bakayoko from AS Monaco to Chelsea for £40,000,000

Image result for bakayoko chelsea

Chelsea have signed midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko from French champions Monaco in a reported £40m deal. The 22-year-old France international has signed a five-year deal with the Premier League champions.

Opinions: This is the player that Chelsea have been linked with for a long time and it’s finally happen. Bakayoko was key to Monaco winning the French league and reaching the Semi-Final of the Champions League. He’s strong, good with the ball and I think he can partner with Kante. This means Nemanja Matic is out the door with Man United and Juventus who wants him.

Kyle Walker from Tottenham to Manchester City for £45,000,000

Image result for walker to man city

Manchester City have completed the signing of Tottenham and England right-back Kyle Walker for an initial £45m. Walker, who has 27 caps and spent eight seasons at Spurs has signed a five-year deal with City. The deal, which comes to £50m including £5m of add-ons, could make him the most expensive English player ever.

Opinions: In my opinion Kyle Walker is nowhere near worth £45m because he’s one of those full backs who looks good going forward but he’s not really good when defending. But maybe Pep can work with him and prove me wrong but we will see.

The Football Recap #1

Image result for Football

Hi guys Milan here and welcome to The Football Recap where we will talk about the Premier League and The Championship unfortunately.

Manchester United 1-1 Arsenal

Olivier Giroud scores against Man Utd

Olivier Giroud’s 89th-minute equaliser earned Arsenal a point and denied Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United a victory they deserved at Old Trafford.

Juan Mata looked to have put United on course for three points with a sweeping left-foot finish from Ander Herrera’s cut-back after 68 minutes. It was a good finish from Juan Mata who is looking a top player under Mourinho.

United had controlled a game that was ordinary for long periods, with Arsenal keeper Petr Cech making important saves and Mourinho left furious that they were denied a first-half penalty by referee Andre Marriner when Nacho Monreal hauled down Antonio Valencia. It was a penalty in my eyes but the Referee made a massive mistake in that game.

The Arsenal got very lucky when Oxlade-Chamberlain crossed in the perfect ball and Giroud who was unmarked in the box and made it 1-1 with a brilliant header. Mourinho was complaining saying Manchester United are the “Unluckiest Team in the league”. May I say United beat Swansea 3-1, Lost to Fernebache in the Europa League, then got destroyed by Chelsea 4-0 and a 0-0 draw against Burnley. They are not unlucky they are just poor. Enough said.

Tottenham Hotspur 3-2 West Ham United

Harry Kane

Another team who bottled it this weekend is West Ham who were 2-1 up and then lost 3-2 to their rivals Spurs.

West Ham took the lead when Antonio scored a header then Spurs youngster Harry Winks (Who was Man Of The Match) equalised to make it 1-1. West Ham then made it 2-1 when Lanzini converted from the penalty spot, and they had a chance to make it 3-1 when Zaza was on a counter attack along with Payet but he didn’t pass it to quickly and then they lost possession of the ball.

Harry Kane who returned from injury continues his form after the North London Derby against Arsenal. He made it 2-2 with a nice tidy finish and then it was 3-2 when Spurs had a penalty and Harry Kane went on to win the game.

West Ham are still in trouble as they are 1 point above relegation. Without Europe they need to focus on finishing in the top 10 otherwise it will be the end for Slaven Bilic. Will West Ham get relegated this season? Let me know on Twitter or the comments below.

Crystal Palace 1-2 Manchester City

Image result for crystal palace 1-2 man city

The return of Yaya Toure who he went on to score a brace to continue the misery for Alan Pardew.

He made it 1-0 with a smashing finish into the top corner when Nolito supplied the pass towards Yaya Toure. He’s one of the contenders for African footballer of the year 2016. Palace made it 1-1 with a good counter attack when Zaha played in a pass towards Connor Wickham with a nice finish passed Bravo.

But Toure, who has not figured at all for City for almost three months, had the final word when he turned home Kevin de Bruyne’s corner from close range. The win moves City second in the table, level on points with leaders Liverpool and with an identical goal difference.

Palace are in big trouble as they are the worse team of 2016 as they are even worse then two teams who got relegated from Football League 2. I think Pardew will get sacked soon if his run continues, but all I can say is thank you for Mile Jedinak who have been our best midfielder.

Brighton 1-1 Aston Villa

Glenn Murray

Glenn Murray scored his 10th goal this season as Brighton resisted a second-half Aston Villa onslaught to extend their unbeaten league run to 11 games. Also Villa are 6 games unbeaten as well.

We took the lead when Nathan Baker met an Albert Adomah free-kick with a fine flicked header to put Villa in front after 20 minutes. Well done Baker and I don’t know if Elphick will be in the team because Baker and Chester have be so solid since Steve Bruce has come in.

Murray responded by fizzing a low shot past goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini just before the break. Jonathan Kodjia hit the bar and David Stockdale made two crucial saves as Villa pressed for a second-half winner.

The game ends in a draw and we will extend our run and beat Cardiff City this weekend and climb the table. Steve Bruce has really organised with Chester being a good captain, Jedinak being our leader in the midfield and Kodija is on fire and your defence is terrified.  UTV!!!

Premier League 16/17 predictions #3

Hi guys Milan here and the Premier League is back after the international break and we have some tasty games on the weekend.

Manchester United VS Manchester City

The Manchester derby is here and it’s Mourinho VS Pep and it should be a cracking game. United are looking good so far with 3 wins out of 3 and Zlatan Ibrahimovic is in amazing form so far. Man City on the other hand are without Aguero after an elbow incident involving him and West Ham defender Winston Reid. He is banned for 3 games and he is crucial to Man City at the moment.

I think Man Utd to win in a thrilling 3-2.

Arsenal VS Southampton

After completing the transfers of Lucas Perez and Mustafi that will give the squad a massive boost after their 3-1 win against Watford, so now this is a must win game to impress the fans. Southampton are struggling without star players like Pelle, Mane etc. They bought Boufal who I think it’s a good player but I think they still have a good squad and can cause problems for Arsenal.

I think Arsenal will win comfortably 3-1.

Bournemouth VS West Brom

This game is quite unusual as Tony Pulis is hanging by a thread after a disappointing transfer window. I know the reason why would good talented players join a club that plays the most horrible brand of football. Bournemouth I think they still can prove me wrong that they will win be to be honest i don’t even know.

I’m saying West Brom win 2-1.

Burnley VS Hull City

This is a tough game to predict because I don’t even know who will win this game. Burnley had a massive win over Liverpool and that will give them confidence to win on Saturday. Hull City who had 2 win in there first two games, then there confidence went down after they lost 1-0 to Manchester United. They might struggle on Saturday but we will see.

I think Burnley will win 1-0.

Middlesborough VS Crystal Palace

Boro are undefeated so far this season and I really hope they stay up this season because they have good attackers to get the goals to keep them up. Palace at the moment are free falling under Pardew and he is on pressure and I think he will be the first manager to be sacked if his losing run keeps going.

I think Boro will win 2-1.

Stoke City VS Tottenham Hotspur

Stoke have had some hard 3 fixtures so far and I still think they have the talent to keep them in the Premier League. With the signing of Wilfred Bony that will give them a chance to create chances and score goals. Spurs are doing average at the moment but their striker Harry Kane hasn’t scored yet and he is yet to score in August. I think he still has nightmares of his form in the Euros, he needs to forget about that and dominate the league again.

I think Spurs will win 3-0.

West Ham VS Watford

West Ham are looking horrible at the moment after losing to the same team from Romania in the Europa League play offs. Then losing 3-1 to Man City and having loads of injuries to their star players like Payet. Watford are in cruise control like they are not in danger at all but their top scorer from last season Ighalo hasn’t scored yet but I think he will score this season so will Troy Deeney.

I think this game will be a 1-1 draw.

Liverpool VS Leicester City

Over the years this game will a Liverpool win all day but not anymore. This is a game that Liverpool need to win as they lost 2-0 to Burnley and then draw to Spurs 1-1 so now Klopp needs to beat Leicester. But Leicester is a team that never die out but I still think they will not win the league again.

I think this game will be a 2-2 draw.

Swansea City VS Chelsea

Chelsea are looking really strong with 3 wins out of 3 and they are looking very strong under Antonio Conte. Diego Cost is in great form so far and I don’t how he’s not sent off yet. Swansea are struglling at the moment with 1 win so far this season so they need to improve.

I think Chelsea will win 2-0.

Sunderland VS Everton

3 games in for Sunderland and David Moyes is already saying they are in a relegation battle and they are becoming a joke at the moment. Sunderland needs to improve and give Everton a good game. But Everton are looking strong with Lukaku, Bolasie, Barkley and now Enner Valencia on loan,so they have loads of firepower going forward.

I think Everton will win 4-1.

Premier League 16/17 Predictions #2

Hi guys Milan here and my second predictions blog for this season of Premier League, and we have loads of football coming up this weekend.

Tottenham VS Liverpool

This is a big game for both teams as Spurs got a good 1-0 win over Crystal Palace and apparently they will play at Wembley as their stadium that is White Hart Lane is getting refurbished. Liverpool on the other hand got humped by newly promoted Burnley who won 2-0. But they did get confidence when they won 5-0 against Burton Albion in the EFL Cup with the return of Daniel Sturridge.

I think it will be a 2-1 win for Liverpool.

Chelsea VS Burnley

Chelsea looking like the dark horse in the title race with 2 win out of 2 in the league and a good 3-2 win in the EFL Cup. Diego Costa is like Marmite you either love him or hate him because he should of got sent of in both games and also he scored in both games as well. Burnley getting a massive win over Liverpool 2-0 and they might surprise Chelsea but to be honest I don’t think they will.

I think Chelsea will win 3-0.

Crystal Palace VS Bournemouth

Both teams who have lost their opening 2 games of the season and they need to kick of their season otherwise they might be doomed. Pardew is in trouble with the way he sold a few big players and now with Benteke in the team he might help them to get goals and results to stay in the league. Bouremouth who are struggling but they are a decent team when going forward with Wilson, Ibe and Kind but it’s the defence that is a blow.

I think this game will be a 1-1 draw.

Everton VS Stoke City

Everton looking a lot more solid at the back but with Williams out with injury they need to make sure they get a result against Stoke this weekend. Stoke havent got the win they need so far this season and I think they will turn up at Goodision Park, but if it ws at Stoke’s ground I would say Stoke will win. It depends if Bolasie, Lukaku and Barkley can rip Stoke apart.

I think this game will be a 2-2 draw.

Leicester City VS Swansea City

The champions need to step up right now after losing 2-1 to hull and a poor result against Arsenal which ended 0-0. Vardy needs to start scoring and Mahrez needs to improve. I can tell they needed Kante in the midfield and they havent got him. Swansea has had some rocky results lately and I think they will get goals from Baston and Llorente.

I think Leicester will win 2-0.

Southampton VS Sunderland

Memories of this fixture goes back when the saints beat Sunderland 8-0.  Southampton need to get results in as Claude Puel will motivates his team to win this weekend. Sunderland who have no wins so far this season and already David Moyes says it’s a relegation battle for Sunderland this season.

I think Southampton will win 2-1.

Watford VS Arsenal

Watford have had a bad week as they lost to Chelsea and then get knocked out in the EFL Cup by Gillingham who are in League two. Watford need to get something out of this game but it will be hard. Arsenal need to get a positive result today as they lost 4-3 to Liverpool and then a 0-0 draw against Leicester. Wenger needs to answer his critics from the fans and the media. They need to sign players like a striker and a centre back to challenge for the title.

I think Arsenal will win 1-0.

Hull City VS Manchester United

Hull continue their unbelievable start to the season with 2 wins out of 2 and can they keep up and maintain themselves to stay in the Premier League. Manchester United are looking brilliant so far with Ibrahimović in brilliant form and he will terrorize the Hull City defense. Pogba had a great debut but can he maintain his form so far?

I think United will win 3-0.

West Brom VS Middlesbrough

West Brom needs to play good football in order to get results. The win against Palace was a good start but it’s not enough. Boro have been brilliant so far with a win over their rivals Sunderland 2-1 and I think they can surprise West Brom.

I think Boro will win 1-0.

Manchester City VS West Ham United

With the Champions League draw announced, they need to be focused on either challenging for the title or do well in domestic like FA Cup or Champions League. West Ham who are crashed out of the Europa League they won’t have any problems playing on a Thursday so they can challenge for top 5.

I think this game will be a 2-1 win for Man City.

Premier League 16/17 predictions #1

Hi guys Milan here and I have returned with the Premier League predictions for the first week of the season.

Hull City VS Leicester City

First game of the season will start with the the return of Hull City without Steve Bruce and the reining champions that are Leicester City. Vardy is Leicester’s only hope now as Kante is gone to Chelsea and Mahrez is likely to leave. Hull will struggle this season without Steve Bruce but they still have some decent players in that squad and they might surprise teams. They need to find a good manager that will tell the players to give it there all and keep them in the Premier League.

I think Leicester will win 3-1.

Burnley VS Swansea City

Burnley are back in the Premier League and I hope they stay because they was unlucky to get relegated and with a star player like Andre Gray they can rely on him to get the goals. Swansea lost Andre Ayew who was there top scorer last season which is a massive blow but with a striker like Llorente who knows where the back of the net is. But they are going to lose Ashley Williams to Everton which is massive to Swansea’a first team, but they are getting a new striker as well so they will get goals.

I think this will be a 1-1 draw.

Crystal Palace VS West Bromich Albion

Losing FA Cup finalist have been busy in the transfer window with some new players. Pardew has to make sure they don’t lose Bolasie to Everton because he is important to this Crystal Palace team. West Brom has to make sure he keeps Berahino at the club and also they need to play a different style of football instead of parking the bus and make things difficult for the opponent.

I think Palace will win comfortably 2-0.

Everton VS Tottenham Hotspur

Ronald Koeman is Everton’s new manager and they have already lost Stones but they are in for Williams which is a good signing for them. Everton will do well this season I think if they keep Lukaku then they will do well this season. Spurs on the other hand finished 3rd last season but for Kane and Alli having bad tournament for England I don’t know if they will return to good form.

I think Spurs will win 2-1 away to Everton.

Middlesbrough VS Stoke City

Boro are back in the Premier League and I’m happy to see a team return to the top flight of English football. They have made some good signings and I think they will survive in the Premier League. Last season this was the best Stoke City team I’ve seen in a long time under Mark Hughes. I think Stoke will finish higher then last season if they have some consistent form in games.

I think this will be a 2-1 win for Stoke City.

Southampton VS Watford

Without Koeman, Pelle, Mane and Wanyama I think Southampton might struggle. But I think they still have a good team and they can get results. Watford  on the other hand have a new manager and they might surprise teams again like they did with Ighalo and Deeney. I think Watford will have a relegation battle this season but I might be proven wrong.

I think it will it will be a 2-0 win for Southampton.

Manchester City VS Sunderland

Man City have ended their Pellegrini era and I think with Pep in charge Man City will play more quality football. Aguero will score goals to try carrying the team to the title again and the new signings will do well in this Premier League season. Sunderland is without Big Sam as he is now England manager, now they have David Moyes now and I think they might play good football under him.

I think Man City will win 4-0.

AFC Bournemouth VS Manchester United

Jose Mourinho will kick off his Premier League season at Manchester United and they have spend a lot of money on players. Ibrahimovic is in good form after scoring the winner against Leicester City in the FA Community Shield. Pogba returns to Man United (I’ve done a blog about that so check that out) and other players who are willing to win the title. Bournemouth is in their second season of the Premier League and I think they will struggle but we will see what happens.

I think Man United will win 3-0.

Arsenal VS Liverpool

This is a big game for both clubs and also bad news as well because both teams want to get off to a winning start. Arsenal needs to find a top class striker either partner Giroud or replace him. Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool team is in really good form as they smash Barcelona 4-0 which is unbelievable but then lost 4-0 to 04 Mainz which is embarrassing.

I think this game will be a 2-2 draw but I think Liverpool will snatch a late winner.

Chelsea VS West Ham United

Chelsea kick off their Antonio Conte era with a home game to West Ham. Kante will hopefully start because he’s a premier league winner and Michy Batshuayi in my opinion he will do well and could partner Diego Costa or just have one striker up front. West Ham will have to wait till they play there home game at the Olympic Stadium. Payet will be the star player hopefully and they might challenge for top 4.

I think Chelsea will win 2-1 against West Ham.
