Summer Transfers #1

It’s back one again! Summer Transfer Window is here and I’ve got some signings that interested me. Let’s go!!!

Romelu Lukaku – Everton to Manchester United for £75m

Manchester United have signed striker Romelu Lukaku from Everton for an initial £75m on a five-year contract. Mourinho said: “Romelu is a natural fit for Manchester United. He is a big personality and a big player,” and he also said “He will be a great addition to the group. I am really looking forward to working with him again.”

Opinion: This is the player we have all be talking about because which club will this striker go to and Manchester United have got him. He’s got everything like he can shoot and pass with both feet, he’s strong, good in the air and he knows the Premier League instead of Morata which United will have to spend more on.

Alexandre Lacazette – Lyon to Arsenal for £46.5m

Arsenal have completed the signing of France striker Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon for a club record £46.5m fee on a five-year deal. The fee – up to £52.6m with add-ons – will surpass the £42.4m Arsenal paid Real Madrid for Mesut Ozil in 2013.

Opinion: I think this is a really good signing for Arsenal because they have been looking for a top quality striker for a long time. This will leave strikers like Giroud, Welbeck and Lucas Perez to fight for their place. Also what will be the future of Alexis Sanchez if he goes.

Michael Keane – Burnley to Everton for £30m

Everton have signed Michael Keane from Burnley for a fee that could rise to a club record-equalling £30m.

Opinion: This is an interesting signing because with Everton investing in loads of money from the new owner. This has sparkle upon all football fans and Michael Keane is a very good defender as he had a good few seasons at Burnley and he’s an international player in which he is representing England.

Mohammad Salah – Roma to Liverpool for £34m

Liverpool have completed the £34m pounds signing of Roma’s former Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian whose 25, has signed a five-year deal and has been a prime target for manager Jurgen Klopp.

Opinion: This is interesting because they have somebody in the position he plays which is Mane but maybe he can play on the right, Mane on the left and Firmino up front with Coutinho just behind which will look nice.

Premier League 16/17 predictions #3

Hi guys Milan here and the Premier League is back after the international break and we have some tasty games on the weekend.

Manchester United VS Manchester City

The Manchester derby is here and it’s Mourinho VS Pep and it should be a cracking game. United are looking good so far with 3 wins out of 3 and Zlatan Ibrahimovic is in amazing form so far. Man City on the other hand are without Aguero after an elbow incident involving him and West Ham defender Winston Reid. He is banned for 3 games and he is crucial to Man City at the moment.

I think Man Utd to win in a thrilling 3-2.

Arsenal VS Southampton

After completing the transfers of Lucas Perez and Mustafi that will give the squad a massive boost after their 3-1 win against Watford, so now this is a must win game to impress the fans. Southampton are struggling without star players like Pelle, Mane etc. They bought Boufal who I think it’s a good player but I think they still have a good squad and can cause problems for Arsenal.

I think Arsenal will win comfortably 3-1.

Bournemouth VS West Brom

This game is quite unusual as Tony Pulis is hanging by a thread after a disappointing transfer window. I know the reason why would good talented players join a club that plays the most horrible brand of football. Bournemouth I think they still can prove me wrong that they will win be to be honest i don’t even know.

I’m saying West Brom win 2-1.

Burnley VS Hull City

This is a tough game to predict because I don’t even know who will win this game. Burnley had a massive win over Liverpool and that will give them confidence to win on Saturday. Hull City who had 2 win in there first two games, then there confidence went down after they lost 1-0 to Manchester United. They might struggle on Saturday but we will see.

I think Burnley will win 1-0.

Middlesborough VS Crystal Palace

Boro are undefeated so far this season and I really hope they stay up this season because they have good attackers to get the goals to keep them up. Palace at the moment are free falling under Pardew and he is on pressure and I think he will be the first manager to be sacked if his losing run keeps going.

I think Boro will win 2-1.

Stoke City VS Tottenham Hotspur

Stoke have had some hard 3 fixtures so far and I still think they have the talent to keep them in the Premier League. With the signing of Wilfred Bony that will give them a chance to create chances and score goals. Spurs are doing average at the moment but their striker Harry Kane hasn’t scored yet and he is yet to score in August. I think he still has nightmares of his form in the Euros, he needs to forget about that and dominate the league again.

I think Spurs will win 3-0.

West Ham VS Watford

West Ham are looking horrible at the moment after losing to the same team from Romania in the Europa League play offs. Then losing 3-1 to Man City and having loads of injuries to their star players like Payet. Watford are in cruise control like they are not in danger at all but their top scorer from last season Ighalo hasn’t scored yet but I think he will score this season so will Troy Deeney.

I think this game will be a 1-1 draw.

Liverpool VS Leicester City

Over the years this game will a Liverpool win all day but not anymore. This is a game that Liverpool need to win as they lost 2-0 to Burnley and then draw to Spurs 1-1 so now Klopp needs to beat Leicester. But Leicester is a team that never die out but I still think they will not win the league again.

I think this game will be a 2-2 draw.

Swansea City VS Chelsea

Chelsea are looking really strong with 3 wins out of 3 and they are looking very strong under Antonio Conte. Diego Cost is in great form so far and I don’t how he’s not sent off yet. Swansea are struglling at the moment with 1 win so far this season so they need to improve.

I think Chelsea will win 2-0.

Sunderland VS Everton

3 games in for Sunderland and David Moyes is already saying they are in a relegation battle and they are becoming a joke at the moment. Sunderland needs to improve and give Everton a good game. But Everton are looking strong with Lukaku, Bolasie, Barkley and now Enner Valencia on loan,so they have loads of firepower going forward.

I think Everton will win 4-1.

Premier League 16/17 Predictions #2

Hi guys Milan here and my second predictions blog for this season of Premier League, and we have loads of football coming up this weekend.

Tottenham VS Liverpool

This is a big game for both teams as Spurs got a good 1-0 win over Crystal Palace and apparently they will play at Wembley as their stadium that is White Hart Lane is getting refurbished. Liverpool on the other hand got humped by newly promoted Burnley who won 2-0. But they did get confidence when they won 5-0 against Burton Albion in the EFL Cup with the return of Daniel Sturridge.

I think it will be a 2-1 win for Liverpool.

Chelsea VS Burnley

Chelsea looking like the dark horse in the title race with 2 win out of 2 in the league and a good 3-2 win in the EFL Cup. Diego Costa is like Marmite you either love him or hate him because he should of got sent of in both games and also he scored in both games as well. Burnley getting a massive win over Liverpool 2-0 and they might surprise Chelsea but to be honest I don’t think they will.

I think Chelsea will win 3-0.

Crystal Palace VS Bournemouth

Both teams who have lost their opening 2 games of the season and they need to kick of their season otherwise they might be doomed. Pardew is in trouble with the way he sold a few big players and now with Benteke in the team he might help them to get goals and results to stay in the league. Bouremouth who are struggling but they are a decent team when going forward with Wilson, Ibe and Kind but it’s the defence that is a blow.

I think this game will be a 1-1 draw.

Everton VS Stoke City

Everton looking a lot more solid at the back but with Williams out with injury they need to make sure they get a result against Stoke this weekend. Stoke havent got the win they need so far this season and I think they will turn up at Goodision Park, but if it ws at Stoke’s ground I would say Stoke will win. It depends if Bolasie, Lukaku and Barkley can rip Stoke apart.

I think this game will be a 2-2 draw.

Leicester City VS Swansea City

The champions need to step up right now after losing 2-1 to hull and a poor result against Arsenal which ended 0-0. Vardy needs to start scoring and Mahrez needs to improve. I can tell they needed Kante in the midfield and they havent got him. Swansea has had some rocky results lately and I think they will get goals from Baston and Llorente.

I think Leicester will win 2-0.

Southampton VS Sunderland

Memories of this fixture goes back when the saints beat Sunderland 8-0.  Southampton need to get results in as Claude Puel will motivates his team to win this weekend. Sunderland who have no wins so far this season and already David Moyes says it’s a relegation battle for Sunderland this season.

I think Southampton will win 2-1.

Watford VS Arsenal

Watford have had a bad week as they lost to Chelsea and then get knocked out in the EFL Cup by Gillingham who are in League two. Watford need to get something out of this game but it will be hard. Arsenal need to get a positive result today as they lost 4-3 to Liverpool and then a 0-0 draw against Leicester. Wenger needs to answer his critics from the fans and the media. They need to sign players like a striker and a centre back to challenge for the title.

I think Arsenal will win 1-0.

Hull City VS Manchester United

Hull continue their unbelievable start to the season with 2 wins out of 2 and can they keep up and maintain themselves to stay in the Premier League. Manchester United are looking brilliant so far with Ibrahimović in brilliant form and he will terrorize the Hull City defense. Pogba had a great debut but can he maintain his form so far?

I think United will win 3-0.

West Brom VS Middlesbrough

West Brom needs to play good football in order to get results. The win against Palace was a good start but it’s not enough. Boro have been brilliant so far with a win over their rivals Sunderland 2-1 and I think they can surprise West Brom.

I think Boro will win 1-0.

Manchester City VS West Ham United

With the Champions League draw announced, they need to be focused on either challenging for the title or do well in domestic like FA Cup or Champions League. West Ham who are crashed out of the Europa League they won’t have any problems playing on a Thursday so they can challenge for top 5.

I think this game will be a 2-1 win for Man City.

The Recap Of Football #2

Hi guys Milan here and we are going to talk about football today. I will be talking about of some of the games that was played over the weekend.

Newcastle Utd 1-2 Huddlesfield Town

Nahki Wells

This is a shock of the weekend as Rafa Benitez lost for the second time this season and Newcastle fans was angry over Twitter with them saying they might get relegation and saying Rafa needs to go etc. I think Rafa is under pressure but I think he can get results in over the weeks and work his magic.

Huddlesfield striker Nakhi Wells made it 1-0 as his shot was drilled in the bottom corner before half time. Second half starts and Newcastle was awarded a penalty for a handball in the ball. Dwight Gayle made it 1-1 with his first goal for Newcastle and they had loads of chances to take the lead. 82nd minute into the game Payne drilled home as Huddersfield won at Newcastle for the first time since 1953.

Hull City 2-1 Leicester City

Adama Diomande scores Hull's first goal against Leicester

The reigning champions that are Leicester City kicked of there season with a shocking defeat to newly promoted Hull City at the KC Stadium. Hull are without a manager and they are relegation favourites. The first goal of the 16/17 season was Hull City as Adama Diomande and Abel Hernandez combined acrobatically, with Diomande awarded the goal. It was an unusual goal and it was poor defending from Leicester.

Riyad Mahrez  who was player of the season last season replied from the penalty spot at the start of the second half after Demarai Gray had been fouled. But Robert Snodgrass earned the Tigers victory with a brilliant strike to beat the goalkeeper. I can tell they miss Kante in the midfield after his move to Chelsea. As for Hull they will be happy with the result.

Arsenal 3 – 4 Liverpool

Philippe Coutinho

Liverpool started their season with a 4-3 thrilling win against Arsenal and that’s what Premier League football is all about. Theo Walcott fired in the first goal for the Gunners in the 31st minute moments after missing a penalty. Coutinho made it 1-1 with a brilliant free kick that beat Cech in goal. Then Adam Lallana smashed it in to make it 2-1 to Liverpool and then Coutinho get his second goal in the game to make it 3-1.

Sadio Mane made it 4-1 and it was humiliating by Arsenal and their fans over Twitter with “Wenger out” etc as they do. Oxlade-Chamberlain made it 4-2 and Callum Chambers made it 4-3 and Arsenal was trying for a comeback and they almost did. It’s back to the drawing board for Wenger and he needs to go out and buy a centre back and a striker to make them title contenders.

Bournemouth 1 – 3 Manchester Utd

Zlatan starts his Premier league season with a bang as Manchester United won 3-1 against Bournemouth. Juan Mata made it 1-0 with a lovely finish and he needs to consider his future because Mourinho was treating him bad when he was at Chelsea or he might keep him.

Rooney made it 2-0 as he header it in the goal from a rebound shot from Martial and United are in cruise control. Then the man for the big occasions that is Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a 25 yard goal and he continues he record of marking debuts with a goal. He scored a debut goal in countries like England, Italy, Spain and France, and in the Champions League. A goal by Smith for Bouremouth give them a consolation goal and I think they will struggle but they will get results.

Premier League 16/17 predictions #1

Hi guys Milan here and I have returned with the Premier League predictions for the first week of the season.

Hull City VS Leicester City

First game of the season will start with the the return of Hull City without Steve Bruce and the reining champions that are Leicester City. Vardy is Leicester’s only hope now as Kante is gone to Chelsea and Mahrez is likely to leave. Hull will struggle this season without Steve Bruce but they still have some decent players in that squad and they might surprise teams. They need to find a good manager that will tell the players to give it there all and keep them in the Premier League.

I think Leicester will win 3-1.

Burnley VS Swansea City

Burnley are back in the Premier League and I hope they stay because they was unlucky to get relegated and with a star player like Andre Gray they can rely on him to get the goals. Swansea lost Andre Ayew who was there top scorer last season which is a massive blow but with a striker like Llorente who knows where the back of the net is. But they are going to lose Ashley Williams to Everton which is massive to Swansea’a first team, but they are getting a new striker as well so they will get goals.

I think this will be a 1-1 draw.

Crystal Palace VS West Bromich Albion

Losing FA Cup finalist have been busy in the transfer window with some new players. Pardew has to make sure they don’t lose Bolasie to Everton because he is important to this Crystal Palace team. West Brom has to make sure he keeps Berahino at the club and also they need to play a different style of football instead of parking the bus and make things difficult for the opponent.

I think Palace will win comfortably 2-0.

Everton VS Tottenham Hotspur

Ronald Koeman is Everton’s new manager and they have already lost Stones but they are in for Williams which is a good signing for them. Everton will do well this season I think if they keep Lukaku then they will do well this season. Spurs on the other hand finished 3rd last season but for Kane and Alli having bad tournament for England I don’t know if they will return to good form.

I think Spurs will win 2-1 away to Everton.

Middlesbrough VS Stoke City

Boro are back in the Premier League and I’m happy to see a team return to the top flight of English football. They have made some good signings and I think they will survive in the Premier League. Last season this was the best Stoke City team I’ve seen in a long time under Mark Hughes. I think Stoke will finish higher then last season if they have some consistent form in games.

I think this will be a 2-1 win for Stoke City.

Southampton VS Watford

Without Koeman, Pelle, Mane and Wanyama I think Southampton might struggle. But I think they still have a good team and they can get results. Watford  on the other hand have a new manager and they might surprise teams again like they did with Ighalo and Deeney. I think Watford will have a relegation battle this season but I might be proven wrong.

I think it will it will be a 2-0 win for Southampton.

Manchester City VS Sunderland

Man City have ended their Pellegrini era and I think with Pep in charge Man City will play more quality football. Aguero will score goals to try carrying the team to the title again and the new signings will do well in this Premier League season. Sunderland is without Big Sam as he is now England manager, now they have David Moyes now and I think they might play good football under him.

I think Man City will win 4-0.

AFC Bournemouth VS Manchester United

Jose Mourinho will kick off his Premier League season at Manchester United and they have spend a lot of money on players. Ibrahimovic is in good form after scoring the winner against Leicester City in the FA Community Shield. Pogba returns to Man United (I’ve done a blog about that so check that out) and other players who are willing to win the title. Bournemouth is in their second season of the Premier League and I think they will struggle but we will see what happens.

I think Man United will win 3-0.

Arsenal VS Liverpool

This is a big game for both clubs and also bad news as well because both teams want to get off to a winning start. Arsenal needs to find a top class striker either partner Giroud or replace him. Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool team is in really good form as they smash Barcelona 4-0 which is unbelievable but then lost 4-0 to 04 Mainz which is embarrassing.

I think this game will be a 2-2 draw but I think Liverpool will snatch a late winner.

Chelsea VS West Ham United

Chelsea kick off their Antonio Conte era with a home game to West Ham. Kante will hopefully start because he’s a premier league winner and Michy Batshuayi in my opinion he will do well and could partner Diego Costa or just have one striker up front. West Ham will have to wait till they play there home game at the Olympic Stadium. Payet will be the star player hopefully and they might challenge for top 4.

I think Chelsea will win 2-1 against West Ham.

Summer Transfer #4

Hi guys Milan and this is my fourth instalment of the Summer Transfer Window.

Gonzalo Higuain (Napoli to Juventus) £75.3

Gonzalo Higuain

Juventus have signed Argentina striker Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli for £75.3m. The fee for the France-born forward is the third most expensive in history and the biggest domestic deal of all time, along with Cristiano Ronaldo (£80m) and Gareth Bale (£85m).

Opinion: I think this is a massive signing for Juventus as he is a proven goal scorer in Italy. He’s in a right age as he’s not young or old and the good thing about this is that Juventus will have loads of options going forward in League, Domestic and Europe.

Leroy Sane (Schalke O4 to Manchester City) £37m

Germany midfielder Leroy Sane has completed his move to Manchester City for a fee of £37m plus add-ons. The 20-year-old has signed a five-year contract after leaving Schalke. City manager Pep Guardiola said: “He is a special talent and an exciting player that I think our supporters will enjoy watching.”

Opinion: To be honest this a bit of a risk to sign a 20 year old midfielder for a redicoulas amount of money. If I was manager of Manchester City I would not take the risk and spend £20m on him. But I think this is a okay signing for them but we will see if he will do well.

Idrissa Gueye (Aston Villa to Everton) £7m

Everton have signed Senegal midfielder Idrissa Gueye from Championship side Aston Villa on a four-year deal. Gueye joined Villa for £9m from French side Lille in July 2015 and made 35 Premier League appearances as they were relegated last season.

Opinion: Well as a Villa fan I criticise this player because he keeps losing the ball but if you look at the stats he had the most tackles alongside Kante of Leicester which is decent and I think he is a blow to our midfield. I think Tshibola will have to fill Gana’s boots and win the ball back and pass the ball forward.

Ross McCormack (Fulham to Aston Villa) £12m

Aston Villa have signed Scotland striker Ross McCormack for £12m from Championship rivals Fulham. The 29-year-old, previously linked with a move to Norwich City, has agreed a four-year contract after Villa had a bid accepted on Wednesday.

Opinion: I’m delighted with this signing because he will guarantee Villa the goals in the Championship because he can score all types of goals. This now means we have options up front because we have Ayew, Agbonlahor, Gestede and Kosak as well. Maybe one of our strikers will be sold but we did lose Clark which is a big blow to the defence. I hope Di Matteo can work his magic and get us back in the Premier League.

I hope you enjoy this blog on the Summer transfer window yet again. Follow my blog for more football madness.

Summer Transfers #3

Hi guys Milan here and this is part 3 in the summer transfer window, and I will give my opinion on what I think.

Jordan Ibe (Liverpool to AFC Bournemouth £15m)

Bournemouth have signed Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe on a four-year deal for a club record £15m. Ibe made 12 Premier League starts for Liverpool last year and scored in the Reds final league game of the season at West Brom. He is Bournemouth’s fifth signing of the season after Leeds United midfielder Lewis Cook joined the side on Friday.

Opinion: I think this is a risk for Bournemouth because he is Bournemouth’s record signing for a 20 year old winger who had 12 appearance in the Premier League. Hopefully he can play a massive part in keeping Bournemouth in the Premier League yet again.

N’Golo Kante (Leicester City to Chelsea) £30m

Chelsea have signed Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante on a five-year deal for a fee believed to be in the region of £30m.  Kante is Chelsea’s second signing of the summer after Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi joined from Marseille. “The opportunity to work with Antonio Conte, a brilliant coach, and some of the best players in the world was simply too good to turn down,” said Kante.

Opinion: I think this is a really good signing for Chelsea as he is like a Claude Makelele to Chelsea as he wins the ball back really well and brings the ball foward and he can be a good partner with Nemanja Matic. This can hope Chelsea can climb back to the top for and back in the Champions League, and they might challenge for the title.

Mario Gotze (Bayern Munich to Borussia Dortmund) £20m

Borussia Dortmund have re-signed forward Mario Gotze on a four-year deal, subject to a medical. The size of the deal is unknown, although reports have suggested it is in the region of £20m. He won Bayern Munich 3 Bundesliga titles and won the World Cup for Germany in 2014.

Opinion: I think this is like something that all players should do because Dortmund made Mario Gotze into the player he is today. He left to Munich and now he returns to Dortmund to play in front of the Dortmund fans in the Yellow Wall.

Georginio Wijnaldum (Newcastle United to Liverpool) £25m

Liverpool have agreed a £25m deal to sign Netherlands international Georginio Wijnaldum from Newcastle. The 25-year-old midfielder, who had four years remaining on his contract at St James’ Park, will have a medical with the Premier League side on Friday.

Opinion: This is Liverpool’s sixth signing this summer under Jurgen Klopp and I think he has Premier League quality and he is too good for the Championship. Newcastle loved this man in the first half of last season but they decide to hate him as he drifts out of the game massively. He’s a really good player and can be a competition to start against Coutinho, Firmino etc.

Hope you enjoy the third blog about this summer’s transfer window. Follow my blog for more football madness.
