Champions League Final Review| Real Madrid 4-1 Juventus

Real Madrid have won the Champions League for the third time in four seasons

Real Madrid has done again as they are retain the Champions League title for the 12th time by beating Juventus 4-1 in Cardiff.

It was a thrilling game to watch as Juventus were the better side in the first half, Pjanic had a great opportunity to put Juventus in-front but it was a brilliant save my Navas. Then Madrid got themselves in the game as Ronaldo played a one-two with Carvajal and then Ronaldo slotted it in to make it 1-0.

Seven minutes later. Juventus tried to get an equaliser and it came with a little bit of magic by Mario Mandzukic with an incredible over-head kick to make it 1-1. It was one of the best goals we have ever seen in the Champions League and I think it’s goal of the season because of the technique and the audacity to do it on the big stage. Half time it was 1-1 and it was a very entertaining half and we all aspect more goals in the second half.

Second half started and Real Madrid started well then Juventus because I think Juventus were tired from the first half. Real Madrid took the lead when Casemiro shot from long range but it took a massive deflection which was harsh on Juventus. It was made 3-1 when Ronaldo scored from a cross from Modric. It was Ronaldo’s 600th goal in his entire career which was incredible from him as I’ve watched him when he was 18 at Manchester United and now he’s 32 and still going strong.

Then it was made 4-1 by youngster Asensio but I’m not going to talk about the red card from Cuadrado because that was no where near a red card because Sergio Ramos dived and it was bad sportsmanship from him and it kinda ruined a perfect final.

I really enjoyed this good game of football between two of the giants of European football. I hope you enjoy this blog, make sure you like and share and also please follow for more football madness.

Semi Finals for English teams!!

Hi guys Milan here and this is a different blog about these results in Champions League, Europa League and the FA Cup. I’m going to talk about these English teams that made to the Semi Finals and their among the favorites to win the competitions in Europe and England.

Manchester City 1 – 0 (Agg 3-2)  Paris Saint-Germain

Manchester City are into the semi-finals of the Champions League for the first time after Kevin de Bruyne’s late strike sealed a thrilling win over Paris St-Germain.

Manchester City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne scores for his side against PSG

After a 2-2 first-leg draw in Paris last week, the tie remained in the balance in Manchester thanks to Sergio Aguero’s missed penalty for City in the first half. The home side had Joe Hart to thank for three fine saves at 0-0, including a ferocious Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s free-kick that the England goalkeeper clawed to safety.

Joe Hart was voted man of the match for his performance in the 2nd leg. Kevin De Bruyne’s strike has taken Manchester City into the Champions League semi finals for the first time in their history.

West Ham United 1 – 2 Manchester United

Manchester United will face Everton in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley after showing class and then character to beat West Ham United.

Marcus Rashford gave Van Gaal’s men the lead in this quarter-final replay after 54 minutes, the 18-year-old collecting a pass from Anthony Martial before curling a magnificent finish into the top corner past West Ham keeper Darren Randolph. Rashford has serious talent and I think he will have a great start in his career at Manchester United with 6 goals in 11 starts for the 18 year old striker.

And when Marouane Fellaini bundled in a Martial cross 13 minutes later it looked all over for West Ham. But then Payet’s corner met the head of Andy Carroll and he head it toward Tomkins to make it 2-1.

David De Gea was voted Man of the Match in that game with his world class saves to deny West Ham to get the goals in the back of the net.

Liverpool 4 – 3 (Agg 5-4) Borussia Dortmund

Liverpool staged one of the most dramatic comebacks Anfield has seen to overcome Borussia Dortmund in a classic and reach the Europa League semi-finals.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were twice left needing three goals to go through in the face of Dortmund’s rapier attacks – but climbed the mountain twice with Dejan Lovren’s 90th minute header from James Milner’s cross to make Liverpool’s night so special and one of the best comebacks in Europe.

Anfield commemorated the 27th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster, in which 96 supporters died, with an minute’s silence before kick-off. Followed by a thriller that will be recalled for generations for sheer excitement and a final whistle that sent Anfield wild. Because to play with such character because of the disaster and went on to win the game is something special and I think Liverpool will go on to win this competition, that’s if they beat Villarreal in the Semi final.

I hope you enjoyed this blog and I’ll be uploading more football madness in the near future.

Champions League Group Predictions 2

This is part 2 of the group stage in the Champions League from Group E to Group H.

Group E – AS Roma, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, FC Barcelona, FC BATE Borisov.

In this group I think Barcelona and AS Roma will go through to the knockout stages. Barcelona are favorites to win the competition and Roma are a surprise package to be the underdogs.

Group F – Arsenal FC, FC Bayern Munich, GNK Dynamo Zagreb, Olympiacos FC.

Arsenal and Bayern Munich are the two teams will go thorough to the last 16. Bayern Munich are contenders to win and I think Arsenal will go far but I don’t think they will win it.

Group G – Chelsea FC, FC Dynamo Kyiv, FC Porto, Maccabi Tel-Aviv FC.

Chelsea and Porto will be the two teams who will go to the last 16. Jose Mourinho is the manager for Chelsea at the moment will face the team who he won the Champions League which is Porto.

Group H – FC Zenit, KAA Gent, Olympique Lyonais, Valencia CF.

This was tough to choose but I had a long think about this group and I think Valencia and Lyon will go through. It was tough as this group is similar to one of the groups in the Europa League.

Hope you agree with the choices I made and Lets see if I’m right. Follow my blog for more footy goodness.

Champions League Group Predictions

This is Milan and I’m giving my predictions for which two teams are going through the knock-out stage of the Champions League. I will do from Group A to Group D and then the next blog will be from Group E to Group H.

Group A – FC Shakhtar Donetsk, Malmo FF, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid.

In my opinion the two team’s that will go through are Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain. Because they are the two best teams in europe so far and PSG has become stronger over the past few years and will Real Madrid have their 11th Champions League trophy.

Group B – Manchester United, CSKA Moskva, PSV Eindhoven, VFL Wolfsburg.

In my opinion on this is that I think Manchester United and Wolfsburg. Man United have made a return to the Champions League after finishing poorly with David Moyes and then finishing fourth with Van Gaal they are back. Wolfsburg are surprise contenders

Group C – Club Atlético de Madrid, FC Astana, Galatasaray FC, SL Benfica.

In my opinion I think Atletico Madrid and Benfica will win this group. Benfica won two champions league trophies one of them won by the great Eusebio who died last year. Atletico Madrid could be favorites to be in the knockout stages.

Group D – Juventus, Manchester City FC, Sevilla FC, Borussia Monchengladbach.

In my opinion the two teams that will go through are Juventus and Manchester City. Juventus are favorites yet again alongside Man City who are contenders for the Premier League and might do well in the Champions League.

I will do Group E to Group H tomorrow so hope you enjoy this blog and hope you agree with my opinions.

Summer Transfers Finale

Hello my name is Milan and this is the final blog on the summer transfer window and giving my opinion on the transfers.

1. Kevin De Bruyne from Wolfburg to Manchester City for £55m

Manchester City have signed Belgium midfielder Kevin De Bruyne from German side Wolfsburg for a club record £55m. It is the second highest fee paid by a British club after Manchester United’s £59.7m signing of Angel Di Maria.

My opinion on this is that it’s a great signing by Man City and he will fit in the premier league as he used to play for English club Chelsea. With his worldclass dribbling and his vision he can make Man City play beautiful football when setting up Aguero or Sterling.

2. Son Heung-min from Bayer Leverkusen to Tottenham for £22m

Tottenham have signed South Korean forward Son Heung-min from German club Bayer Leverkusen. The 23-year-old scored 29 goals in 87 appearances for Leverkusen having joined them from Hamburg in 2013.

My opinion on this is that is he’s a good signing because they need a striker to partner with Kane because Harry Kane is struggling to have his name on the score sheet. I think Kane and Son will be a good partnership to make sure Spurs get Champions League place over there rival Arsenal.

3. Joleon Lescott from West Brom to Aston Villa for £2m

Lescott who is 33 years old and has 26 England caps, has signed a two-year contract with West Brom’s rivals Aston Villa for a bargain of £2m.

My opinion on this is that I’m happy on this because I’m a Villa fan and he will bring experiences to the young defenders at Aston Villa.

4. Javier Hernandez from Manchester United to Bayer 04 Leverkusen for £7.3m

Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has joined Bayer Leverkusen for £7.3m. Hernandez scored 59 goals in 156 appearances for United after joining from hometown club Chivas de Guadalajara in 2010.

My opinion on this is that it’s a good signing because he’s been on the bench for a year after United lost 2-1 to Swansea City. Hernandez is a goal scorer if you use him correctly and put him in his best position and he will score.

All of the big transfers have been talked about and giving my opinions and I will be back for January Transfers. Follow my blog for more football madness.

Summer Transfers 3

Part 3 of the summer transfers and my opinions. They have been some intresting signing’s and let me know what you think from your feedback.

1. Angel Di Maria from Manchester United to PSG for £44.3m.

Paris St-Germain have completed the signing of Manchester United midfielder Angel Di Maria for a fee of £44.3m. “I am very proud and I can’t wait to wear the colours of Paris St-Germain,” he said when he completed his medical in Qatar on Tuesday.

My opinion on this is that he is a great signing for PSG but a lost for United as they paid 60 million on him last summer. Playing alongside Ibrahimovic and Cavani in the team he will show of his quality in Paris.

2. Pedro from Barcelona to Chelsea for £21m.

“I am very happy to be here. I am very excited to start my adventure at Chelsea and I am here to keep winning titles,” he told the club’s website. The 28-year-old has agreed a four-year deal and is the Blues’ second signing in less than a week after the arrival of Ghana defender Baba Rahman.

I’m not sure about this signing because will it be like when they bought Cuadrado in January and he wasn’t used last season. I think it’s a big lose for Barcelona and he was loved by the club, but I hope he will do well and help Chelsea to get points in this season.

3. Stefan Jovetic from Manchester City to Inter Milan for Loan Deal

Stefan Jovetic will be at Inter next season after he signed a two year loan deal.

My opinion on this is that I’m happy for him that Inter will give him a chance to play his football in the San Siro. Also he is back in the Serie A and he will face Fiorentina (The team that Man City bought him from). So he will get used to how Italian football is.

4. Nicolas Otamendi from Valencia to Manchester City for £32m

Otamendi signed for Manchester City for £32m from Spanish Club Valencia. The Argetine defender has been targeted by Manchester United but now sold to the blue side of Manchester.

In my opinion this is a great signing for Man City because Imagine the back four: Clichy, Otamendi, Kompany and Zabaleta. I think with a defence like that they can win the league again.

That’s it for Part 3 Part 4 will be done on Transfer Deadline Day so don’t worry. Also follow my blog for more football madness in the near future.

Summer Transfers

Hi I’m Milan and this is where I talk about the transfers I want to talk about and say my own opinions about them.

Petr Cech from Chelsea to Arsenal £10m

The Czech Republic goalkeeper, who played more than 400 club games in 11 seasons at Stamford Bridge, has joined the Gunners on a four-year contract. He made only seven league appearances last season after losing his place to Belgian Thibaut Courtois.

My opinion on this transfer is I love Cech he’s a world class goalkeeepr and that’s what Arsenal is missing to make their team stronger and helping them win the title. I know they have got Ospina and Szczesny but I don’t see Szczesny being the clubs Number one Cech is the perfect signing for them.

Mario Mandzukic from Atletico Madrid to Juventus £13.6m

The 29-year-old only joined Atletico last summer from Bayern Munich and scored 20 goals in 43 games for the Spanish side. “I like Juventus and I like the city [Which is Turin]. I hope I will be happy here. I will fight for my new team,” he said.

In my opinion I was a bit shaky because I was thinking he won’t make it to the first team alongside Dybala, Tevez, Morata and Fernando Llorente. Now I’m thinking it’s a good signing because Tevez moved to Boca Juniors so it makes Mandzukic the perfect replcement to link up with Dybala next season.

Memphis Depay From PSV to Manchester United £31m

“This is a dream come true for me, a new chapter in my life and one that I am looking forward to,” said Depay. United manager Louis van Gaal said the Netherlands international has the potential to become “a great footballer for this club”.

My opinion on this is I knew it was going to happen and they need young attackers to replace the likes of Van Persie who is linked to be moved somewhere. They need a good young striker and a good defender and they can challenge for the league and Champions League.

Nathaniel Clyne from Southampton to Liverpool £12.5m

The Reds had a £10m bid for the England right-back rejected, but the 24-year-old has now agreed a five-year deal with the Premier League side. “I’m delighted and it’s a dream move for me to come here and play for such a big club with all of its history,” said Clyne.

My opinion on this is that he is going to be the best defensive right back in England soon. Southampton is a club that has made who Clyne is now and Liverpool has see what this player is made off.

That’s all the transfers I want to talk about so far. Feel free to let me know other transfers you want me to talk about on twitter @MilanRnic1
