It’s back!! The 2017/18 Premier League season and I can’t wait for the new football season so let’s go!!!

Arsenal 4-3 Leicester City

Olivier Giroud celebrates Arsenal winner

Arsenal end their curse of losing on the first game of the season with thrilling 4-3 win over Leicester City.

Arsenal started really strong as Lacazette gets his first goal for Arsenal with a terrific header. Then Leicester made it 1-1 when Okazaki heads in the net past Cech, then Vardy made it 2-1 and it was good attacking football from Leicester. New signing Kolasinac past to Welbeck to make it 2-2 before half time.

Second half kicked off and Leicester made it 3-2 when again Jamie Vardy puts it past Cech again. Wenger reacted when he subbed Giroud and Ramsey and they made an instant impact. Xhaka crossed the ball to Ramsey who smashed it past Schmeichel in the 83rd minute and then 2 minutes later Xhaka crossed the ball in and Giroud rised up and hits the back of the net and 3 points go to Arsenal.

Watford 3-3 Liverpool

Miguel Britos heads Watford's equaliser over the line

Watford scored a late equaliser in a thrilling 3-3 draw against Liverpool.

Watford took the lead with an header from Okaka past Mignolet and then Liverpool hit back with Sadio Mane with a clinical finish. Watford made it 2-1 with a goal from Doucoure before half time.

Second half kicked off and Liverpool got two goals from Firmino and then new signing Salah made it 3-2 and it wonderful attacking football from Liverpool. Then right at the end when Britos snatched 2 points from Liverpool.

With Coutinho out of the sqaud for the game which is a shock as he wants to leave so what will happen to Coutinho?

Chelsea 2-3 Burnley

Chelsea started their defence of the title with an humiliating 3-2 defeat to Burnley.

The game started and Burnley were more lively and Chelsea were down to 10 men with a bad challenge from Cahill. Burnley made it 1-0 from Vokes with 24 minutes gone, then it was made 2-0 when Ward puts the ball past the keeper. Then 3-0 was made when Vokes again volleyed it in and it was a carnival for Burnley and humilting from Chelsea.

Chelsea pulled on pack in the second half with new signing Morata with a nice finish. But it was let down when Chelsea went down to 9 men when Fabregas got a second yellow and a red card. David Luiz made it 3-2 and they were close to gain a point but Burnley defended well and they deserved the 3 points.

Crystal Palace 0-3 Huddersfield Town

Mounie scores Huddersfield's second goal

Huddlesfield Town made a dream start to their first season in the Premier League with a 3-0 win over Crystal Palace.

They took the lead when Palace defender Joel Ward puts in in his own net. Then Steve Mounie made it 2-0 with a powerful header, and the confidence in a club playing in the top teir of english football since 1972 is through the roof.

Mounie who is the club’s record signing scored his a second goal to make it 3-0 and it was a canaval for the 3000 huddlesfield fan. This is Frank De Boer first game under Palace and it didn’t get off to a good start for him but I feel they will do well this season.

Everton 1-0 Stoke City

Image result for everton rooney

It was a special moment for a certain Wayne Rooney who gets the only goal for Everton in a 1-0 win over Stoke City.

Everton who have invested in loads of players over the summer with the amount of money coming to the club. They dominated the first half and Stoke keeper Jack Butland was keeping stoke in the game until a header from Wayne Rooney made it 1-0 before half time.

The 31-year-old, who left the club for Manchester United in 2004, headed in his 199th Premier League goal as the Toffees beat Stoke 1-0 at Goodison Park. He is close to Shearer’s record but even if he breaks it he won’t be anywhere near Shearer’s class.

Southampton 0-0 Swansea City

Gabbiadini

There was always one boring game on the opening day and this was one of them which is a 0-0 draw between Southampton and Swansea.

Both teams had chances to make it 1-0 and to be honest strikers on both sides had an off day and the one big chance when Southampton striker Gabbiadini hit the cross bar from a corner from Tadic.

Southampton had chance after chance after chance to make it 1-0 and it should of been 3-0 or 4-0 to the Saints and Swansea were getting destroyed and they got a sneaky point way from home.

West Brom Albion 1-0 AFC Bournemouth

West Brom

A certain new signing for West Brom described his goal a special moment as West Brom won 1-0 against Bournemouth.

Bournemouth had the majority of possession but failed to capitalise, and there was a sense of inevitability as a Baggies free-kick was safely nodded in by the Egyptian defender, for his first goal for the club.

Another Tony Pulis’ summer signing performed well, which is debutant Jay Rodriguez twice coming close and looking sharp. It was a tidy opening day performance for the Baggies.

Brighton & Hove Albion 0-2 Manchester City

Aguero

Brighton fought against the mighty Man City but Man Ciy proved too strong for Brighton with a comfortable 2-0 win.

In the first half Brighton did really well as they were compact, they defended well and frustrated Pep Guardiola’s team and everyone thought they will struggle against Brighton who are playing in the Premier League for the first time in history.

Second half started and Man City was putting pressure on Brighton all half and it paid of with their man Sergio Aguero who was top scorer for City last season, opens his account for the season. then it was made 2-0 five minutes later with an own goal by Lewis Dunk.

Wasn’t convincing from Man City as they need to step up to show that they are title contenders for this season.

Newcastle United 0-2 Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham

Tottenham made a winning start to the 2017-18 Premier League season as 10-man Newcastle endured a difficult return to the top flight.

First half was all Spurs the half as Kane, Alli, Eriksen etc having shots at goal and Newcastle were terrible as they couldn’t get out of their half. All the talk about what’s happening at Newcastle as their manager Benitez as he might resign because of Mick Ashley and they are not going after players.

Second half kicked off and it went from bad to worse as Jonjo Shelvey got a straight red card for stamping on Dele Alli due to frustration. It was stupid from Shelvey and he deserves a ban for that. Speaking of Dele Alli, he gived Spurs the deserved lead and I feel Shelvey will get the blame. It was made 2-0 when Ben Davies scored from an Eriksen assist.

Spurs started off strong and hope they will be title conteders again whereas Newcastle they need to sort themselves out before Rafa Benitez walks away.

Manchester United 4-0 West Ham United

Romelu Lukaku scores Manchester United's opening goal

United started with a dominate 4-0 win over West Ham United.

Lukaku gived United the lead for his first goal at Old Trafford for Manchester United from a pass from Rashford. Lukaku seems to be a good signing for United as with his experience in the Premier League

Then second half kicked off and it was made 2-0 when Romelu Lukaku again when he heads the ball from a free kick from Mkhitaryan. It was 3-0 when substitute Martial opens his account for the season with a nice finish then Pogba scored from 20 yards out to make it 4-0.

One player stood out and it was Matic who controlled the game, won the ball back and he can be key to United winning trophies this season. It was a dominate game from Mourinho and I feel they are title contenders this season.
